Week to go for PR agencies to enter awards
Saturday 01st of March 2008
PR agencies in the north-west have a week left to submit their entries for the first How-Do Media and Creative Awards.
The event is aimed at bringing together the most outstanding players in the media sector who are either headquartered in the north-west or have an operational base in the region.
Judges will consider entries in 14 categories and base their decision on whether the contestants can show demonstrable and transparent success in 2007.
Examples of such success include financial performance, innovation, managing and overcoming adversities and creating jobs.
The PR agency category is sponsored by KMP Interactive Marketing and Technology. Other sponsors include MEN Media in the advertising/media agency category and City Talk 105.9fm, who is sponsoring the digital agency category.
Winners will be announced at an awards ceremony due to be held at Manchester United Football Club on April 24th.
Launched last March, How-Do aims to serve the north-west's media industry through the provision of various online resources, according to its website.
