Ricoh Arena exhibitors receive Bluetooth marketing boost
Tuesday 15th of January 2008
The Ricoh Arena has agreed a deal with SuiteX which will provide conference exhibitors with new, cutting-edge Bluetooth marketing technology.
As part of the link-up, firms making use of the Ricoh facilities in Coventry will be able to deliver media messages to conference attendees via Bluetooth, helping them to boost exposure and reach a wider client base, Creative Match reports.
Geoff Abbott, a business development director for SuiteX, revealed that the move would provide new possibilities for exhibitors.
He said: "It's tremendous. This deal makes the Ricoh Arena potentially more attractive to exhibition organisers. It takes marketing into the 21st century, offering exhibitors extra communications.
"It is magnificent for them. There are no up-front costs - they simply plug and play a 'turn key' system which we look after, using the best technology," he added.
Meanwhile, Blowfish Digital has revealed an extension to its deal with online auctioneers eBay, with the company set to provide paid search in addition to its existing marketing services.
