Clear Marketing wins TV ad award

Clear Marketing has picked up a Travel Advertising Award for Best TV Campaign.
The firm's 'You'll Like Where We're Going' creative for Airtours scooped the prize. The awards event is organised by the Chartered Institute of Marketing Travel Industry Group (CIMTIG) and it attempts to showcase the best and most innovative work across the sector.
"Clear marketing's ad for the holiday giant first aired last Christmas bringing to life the brand's powerful new positioning. It was the brand's biggest ever TV advertising campaign and marked a return to TV advertising for five years," Clear Marketing's managing director, Jim Smith, commented.
"The series of seven TV ads (30 and 10 second treatments) showcased Airtours' new product development, destinations and service initiatives that set the company apart from its competitors, encouraging consumers to take a fresh look at the package holiday.
"The adverts were the result of in-depth research for the Airtours brand and a great deal of hard work, so its rewarding that this has been recognised with a travel industry award."
