Online invitation firm pingg adds value to event management, according to its chief executive.
Co-founder Lorien Gabel told the Guardian the service offers event managers the opportunity to make use of its various tools to boost their activities.
Those who sign up for pingg's offerings will have access to invitations that can be printed from the internet, an image library, SMS packages, a white label service and ticketing facility.
"Our approach from day one has been to identify revenue sources that actually add value to the invitation and event planning process," Mr Gabel said.
He added that ping has users across Europe, India and Latin America who utilise the service for event management of college reunions, grand openings and even dinner parties.
Mr Gabel predicted that pingg will make a "big difference" with its combination of "great style and advanced functionality" along with a solid business model.
Writing on pingg's official blog, Mr Gabel recently suggested event managers who have a specific style in mind are likely to put a premium on the "look and feel" of online invitations and added that his service offers a "significant improvement" on existing facilities.
