Partnership to improve event management opportunities in Wales

Event management companies across north Wales could be set to benefit from a new partnership established by one facilities provider in the area.
Llandudno's Venue Cymru has announced that it has sought the cooperation of 48 hotels and guesthouses in the region to ensure events are well catered for in terms of accommodation and venue space.
Known as Llandudno Conference Solutions, the scheme is intended to increase interest in the area among event management companies.
Adrian LaTrobe, manager of the partnership, adds: "There are plans to also invite local shops, restaurants and businesses to join the partnership to maximise the appeal of Llandudno and its surrounding areas as a high quality conference solution."
He stated that the conference centre and other facilities in the town were already recognised as an advantage for business in Llandudno.
According to organisers, Venue Cymru can boast facilities for fully-managed conferences for delegates numbering between five and 5,000.
