Frogs! sees PR agency gain industry recognition

One PR agency recently achieved international recognition following an online PR campaign for the Houston Museum of Natural Science.
The effectiveness of online campaigns was exemplified by Spur Digital's efforts in the development of Frogs! A Chorus of Colors.
Spur Digital was briefed to produce interactive media to entertain adults and children alike.
"We had to entertain, educate and engage a specific audience, and, at the same time, drive ticket sales," said Spur Digital's chief executive officer Steve Latham.
It responded by producing a microsite allowing visitors to interact in a number of ways with the online exhibits - before sending the results to friends as e-postcards to gain benefits from the content's viral marketing potential.
The campaign resulted in the firm becoming featured on the cover of PR Week, a national publication for the PR campaign industry.
More recently, Mr Latham has analysed why many firms continue to be reluctant to invest in online PR campaigns, thereby failing to see the benefits achievable through use of the medium.
