Guinness World Records has teamed up with Microsoft Digital Advertising Solutions to begin advertising its products in video games.
With the company keen to increase its exposure, its products will reach XBox owners with the launch of a gamer's edition of the book as well as a range of adverts.
The link up began at the end of last week (February 8th) and will include downloadable theme packs and custom backgrounds. At the same time the popular publication has also begun increasing its presence with television and print advertisements.
Meanwhile, Freshwater has completed the purchase of fellow PR company Merlin.
Freshwater has spent £1 million on the acquisition on its Cardiff-based rival and chief executive of the firm, Steve Howell, revealed his belief that the purchase would boost Freshwater's scope.
"Merlin has a fantastic track record of producing outstanding creative campaigns, and that depth and range of expertise can be extended to clients from across the Freshwater Group, both in Wales and beyond," he said.
