mcm complete Lite Relief purchase

Event management firm mcm have completed the purchase of audio visual (AV) company Lite Relief.
mcm, which also produce videos and graphics, has acquired Lite Relief to help it manage its technical capabilities and enhance its service for its clients.
Managing director of mcm Neil Crespin, has revealed that the move was necessary for his firm to maintain competitive in the world of events management.
He said: "Meeting the demands of delivering tangible and successful results for clients in an increasingly competitive market has never been more challenging.
"Lite Relief has been a long term supplier to mcm, and this strategic acquisition strengthens our position in the market place at both a local, national and European level," he added.
Meanwhile, Manchester Central, formerly the GMEX and the MICC, is set to undergo a £20 million redevelopment.
The venue will receive more catering and seminar space, as well as a new entrance hall.
