WorldEvents expand into Europe
Friday 18th of January 2008
UK based events management firm WorldEvents has continued its expansion into Europe with the opening of a new office in Amsterdam.
The company already has an office in Yorkshire and a base in the US and it is hoped that a presence in Holland will help it to keep in touch with its continental clients.
Andrew Winterburn, the European development director of the firm, revealed that the office would allow the company to gain a foothold in the region.
He said: "Our strategy for Europe is built around a network of operations in each of our key markets of Holland, Belgium, Germany, France, Spain and Italy."
Meanwhile, general manager of Novotel London West, Michael Sloan, has revealed his belief that the future of events management companies will be linked directly to their corporate social ethos.
He claimed that companies not taking their responsibility seriously enough would be likely to suffer in the long-term.
