Thursday 10th of January 2008
A multi-million pound upgrade of the Chester Grosvenor hotel's conferencing facilities is set to be completed within the next six weeks.
The hotel, which has pledged £3 million to modernise its meeting rooms, will complete the revamp in time for the rooms to be reopened on February 15th, Meetpie reports.
Jonathan Slater, the managing director of the hotel, revealed that refurbishment has helped the venue update its technology.
He told the publication: "This state of the art addition to the extensive refurbishment of the hotel's meeting and events facilities is set to produce an unsurpassed executive boardroom with the very latest technology incorporated throughout."
As part of the update the venue's meeting rooms are to be provided with Wi-Fi access as well as a range of modern furnishings.
Meanwhile, a new conference centre is set to be built in Lincolnshire for around £7 million.
The new facility, known as the EPIC centre, will be able to host events for up to 1,200 delegates.
