Events management conference attracts star names

Events management conference, International Confex, has announced a celebrity chef among its key speakers for its 2008 meeting.
Jean-Christophe Novelli will provide delegates with an insight into the importance of event catering and will be joined at the event by Rohit Talwar, an award winning speaker and events industry expert, and Coffee Republic founder Sahar Hashemi.
Event direct at International Confex, Duncan Reid, suggested that the guests would provide useful advice for the delegates
He said: "This is a great line up and it underlines the growing profile of business experts that are engaging with our industry.
"Each speaker has a different insight into our industry and we want both exhibitors and visitors to benefit from their knowledge. We look forward to welcoming them to the show," he added.
Meanwhile, the Worldspan Group has boosted its profits by 122 per cent for the year thanks to a good performance from its events division.
