Commercial cleaning firm offers green clean
Tuesday 27th of November 2007
Commercial cleaning firm ICS has announced that it will soon launch its eco friendly office and commercial cleaning services across London and the south-east of England.
The cleaning service firm says that it is looking to increase its green cleaning offering - and adds that it feels it has found a niche in the market.
"We realised there was a lack of responsibility for becoming more environmentally friendly within the commercial cleaning industry," Greg Daniels, the firms managing director, commented.
"We wanted to challenge and change this attitude, and to make ICS one of the foremost eco friendly office cleaning service providers in the UK. To overcome the view that switching to anything green comes at a cost, we had to equal or outdo conventional cleaning companies on price and service," he continued.
"Many of our clients have chosen us because of our environmental focus and ability to deliver a great service within their budget. We work for Endemol UK and various other media companies and charities."
Unnecessary wastage and packing and the widespread use of toxic cleaning chemicals are ICS's particular concerns.
