Platform picks up awards
Tuesday 23rd of October 2007
Promotional agency Platform has scooped up a highly-coveted prize at this year's Marketing Agencies Association (MAA) Awards.
The agency won a Globe Gold award for their 'Free Football Stuff' campaign, conducted on behalf of Thorn Lighting MK and Osram.
The award ceremony took place at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, and this year over 104 agencies from 25 different countries and all five continents received awards. Only five UK agencies were short-listed for awards, and just two managed to scoop a gold.
"We are absolutely delighted to have our work with 3 major electrical clients recognised, explains Graham Temple Platform's managing director.
"We were the catalyst in motivating three independent companies who had the vision to combine sales and marketing resources - a perfect example that the sum of the whole is greater than the parts. We produced an innovative and highly creative campaign that delivered outstanding results which was recognised earlier this year in the UK and now on a global stage."
